ELECTIONS - Friday, April 17, 7:30-9:00 and 2:45-3:00 (Ice cream social in the afternoon!)

What is the school council? The council is the governing body for this school. It determines school policy for
curriculm, staffing, discipline, scheduling, instructional practices, extra-curricular activities and other matters
pertinent to the operation of the school.

What does the SBDM Council do? The SBDM approves: Budgeting, Textbooks/Instructional Materials, consults
with the principal before hiring of teacher/staff, approves and monitors policies related to curriculum, homework,
class assignments and school activities and programs.
