Ways to Get Involved at Maxwell

One of the most meaningful ways we support our wonderful school—our faculty, staff, and students—is through volunteering on our PTA committees. Sign up to serve on one of our committees here

Our committees include:

  • Fundraising – supports our annual Fun Run and other fundraising efforts (EXTRA SUPPORT NEEDED - PRIZE DAY VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR)

  • Programming – organizes Art Night, STEM Night, and Taste of Maxwell

  • Hospitality – provides teacher appreciation luncheons and courtesy cart treats

  • Beautification – maintains our school garden and campus improvement projects

  • Reflections – leads the National PTA arts program, “What My Culture Means to Me,” encouraging students to express their cultural identity through the arts

  • Room Parent (K–5) – serves as a vital link between classroom and home, assisting teachers, coordinating class events, and supporting communication with families (separate sign-up link: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0A4DAEAC2CAAFCC34-64866307-20262027)

Volunteer in Our Garden

The Maxwell garden was established in the spring of 2024. This project was funded by the PTA, designed by Leaf & Bloom Gardens, and installed by volunteers. Contact us if you are interested in helping in the garden!
